Programming puzzles

If you can do a bit of programming and enjoy problem-solving then you might be interested in the challenges Facebook engineers set on the Facebook puzzles page. At the time of writing there's only one problem but we're sure there are more to come. In fact, we're trying to find the problems that used to be there...

Programming problems can be be tackled at TopCoder.com (if you sign up kindly refer "Nimisis") which hosts 90 minute competitions on a weekly basis that attract coders from all over the world. If you don't particularly enjoy the competitive of nature of the Single Round Matches (SRMs) then you might be glad to here that they also host longer "Marathon matches". A solution to a problem can be tested and refined over a week or so before final submission.
